Natural gas grills are a nice compromise between a propane grill and a charcoal grill. They get you out of the kitchen, but they are connected to the household gas supply rather than having their own gas cannister. The burner itself is likely to be more expensive than if you were to buy a propane gas grill, but the natural gas barbeque grill will work out cheaper in the long run because natural gas is more cost effective than using either charcoal or propane. So if you are a regular barbecuer it will be more cost effective in the long run to buy a natural gas barbecue grill.
