How come no one told me there were energy efficient appliances that come in compact sizes? The compact one I has is as about energy efficient as a dinosaur. When I started to check around (on my own) I discovered the newer models of compacts are designed to be very energy efficient. Some even have the “Energy Star” rating which means they rated very high on efficiency. I just wish someone had told me earlier. I shudder to think how many dollars I wasted on my electric costs by using my old model for so long. Well, now everyone knows because I just told them.
