When shopping for material for your prom dress, make sure that you purchased material that will clean up neatly and easily.  For one thing, it is a very common occurrence for many girls to get liquid such as punch, soda, coffee or even liquor spilled on their prom dress — and you need your dress to be made of a material that will not retain such stains.  It may also be true that, due to the activity of the evening, that you address may also have food stains as well as perspiration and odor stains.  So, when you stop and think about it, there is really no advantage to choosing a prom dress with material that is so delicate that it cannot be cleaned off — chances are that something will happen to it before the evening is over.
