The leading brand manufacturing surgical instruments in the United States is the American Surgical Instruments Corporation (ASICO). The surgical profession holds the items manufactured by American Surgical Instruments in high esteem for its sustained quality products and professionalism. Their products include speculum, markers, injectors, calipers and many more such instruments. During my interaction with some renowned surgeons in connection with our NGO activities, we touched on various surgical equipments being used. In one such meeting, overseas surgical activities were brought in as a topic where references were made to American Surgical Instruments products and how surgeons in the U.S. mostly prefer their equipments over other manufacturers.
