I currently work at Sears in BC but am moving to Saskatchewan for school. I was wondering if when I start looking for a job should I look for something new or should I transfer to a Sears store there?

You should phone the HR guy there and ask.

Wages in a lot of places are about to change, because our minimum wage is going up to $9.25/hour in May. Which city are you moving to? I am in Regina, and my friend who worked at the Sears outlet store was making around $10/hour…that was a year ago. They might have different wages in different centers, because of store sizes.

Check out. There are tons of customer service jobs open in the province right now, so if you can’t get a transfer to Sears, you can look at other places too.
