give the nearest store a call and tell them what is wrong…they will repair/replace the vacuum.

there should be a peice of paper you got with a number on it you call if factory warrenty if store warenty you just take it in.

Call Sears applicance repair department and they pick it up.

Yes! Don’t let them string you along either by saying that you have to take it to the manufacturer or pay shipping to get it sent off to get it fixed. I had a table saw that they wanted me to pay shipping for to get it sent off for repair. My table saw is now fixed and I didn’t pay one dime.

If you registered your vacuum with Sears when you received it, they should have a record of it. Without registering, you might be out of luck. Sears has a repair center that is not normally located at their store. But they should help direct you to get it fixed promptly.

Take your vacuum to any Sears store and tell the associate you need the machine repaired. Give a description of whats wrong along with your telephone number, they will look up your purchase history and send it along with the machine to the closest repair facility. Be prepared to pay 25.00 for disposable items like bags, belts, and bulbs. (not covered by warranty) The repair facility will repair your machine and return it back to the store you dropped it off at.
