Albertine G asked:

I have a sears best life 1/2 hp garage door opener and a remote that does not seem to match. The outside of the unit does not seem to show any pins or settings and I am afraid to open the unit by removing the 6-8 screws (also the unit does not seem to be super secure in the ceiling). Is there another way to reprogram the remote to this old unit?

For the better part of the last fifteen years, I’ve used cell phones. — I like cell phones; don’t get me wrong. — It’s the extended contracts, and all the other stuff that goes along with them, I don’t like.

Which is why when my latest cell phone contract expired two months ago, I was finished with them (contracts that is).

I have a few friends who feel the same way and have since purchased their own Tracphone Prepaid Cell Phone.

There are no bills, no contracts, and you pay for as much airtime you think you’ll need.

In short, there are no hassles. — I like that in a cell phone.

If the old one only makes it through 100000 cycles and your oven cycles once every few seconds when you cook, then how many minutes of cooking would you get from that sensor and shouldn’t Sears give me a new one since the replacement costs me $75? They don’t tell you that when you buy an oven and this part wears out it’s welcome pretty quick during ownership. How long should a manufacturers part last? What do commercial ovens use? Are they any better? This was a top of the line kitchen appliance, digital and everything!

Two of my friends are looking to have their wedding somewhere special, and we’re trying to find out if it’s possible to have a wedding at the Sears Tower in Chicago– and how much it would possibly cost depending on options/season.

Thank you!
We found theres a restaurant in the Sears Tower that caters to everything needed– so that’s gonna be where we start looking first. Thanks!

Benjamin
